Accuracy Review — Implementation (Line-by-Line)
What You’ll Do in This Implementation Lesson
- Run a structured, line-by-line review of an AI-assisted draft
- Catch invented facts, timeline errors, overstated certainty, and missing basis
- Fix the draft safely and mirror the corrected version into the case file
In this lesson, you’ll watch the exact accuracy review workflow. This is where professionals separate themselves from hobbyists. AI can help draft faster, but the draft is not safe until it survives a structured review.

This lesson will demonstrate a real draft review using the Accuracy Review Sheet and Red Flag Checklist.
You’ll use: M3-03 Accuracy Review Sheet + M3-02 Red Flag Output Checklist (from Module 3 Downloads).
Step-by-Step Workflow
- Open the Accuracy Review Sheet.
Do not “skim.” Use the sheet as a checklist so every review is consistent. - Read the draft out loud.
Reading out loud slows you down and exposes missing logic, awkward claims, and timeline drift. - Verify the basics first.
Names, dates, locations, case numbers, relationships, and key event order. - Hunt for invented facts.
If a detail is not in your verified chronology or notes, remove it or mark it as needing confirmation. - Check the timeline.
Watch for words like “then,” “after,” “before,” and “later.” Confirm they match the chronology. - Check basis for every material claim.
If the statement is witness-based, label it. If it is information-and-belief, label it conservatively. - Downgrade overconfident language.
Match certainty to proof. Replace “proved” language with neutral, accurate wording when needed. - Re-run the prompt if necessary.
If the input was messy, correct the input and regenerate instead of patching a broken draft. - Mirror the corrected draft into the case file.
Save the reviewed version locally with a clean name and date/version stamp.
Most Common AI Draft Failures
- Invented details inserted to “sound complete”
- Timeline compressed or rearranged incorrectly
- Wrong names, wrong dates, wrong locations
- Overstated certainty that exceeds the evidence
- Witness statements presented as direct personal knowledge
Non-Negotiable Rules
- No guessing. If you don’t know, label it and confirm it.
- No invented facts. Remove anything not supported by your notes/chronology.
- No speed-reading. High-stakes drafts require structured review.
- Always mirror. The file is the record—AI chats are not.
